Emotional, intentional, and atmosphere-altering are just a few ways to describe the inspiring collection of songs featured on Devin and Ashley Gray’s sophomore project, Song of the Saints, Vol. 1. This married duo is not new to the music scene, and their maturity shows strong on this project. This EP clearly represents that they have grown in confidence since their first release in 2015. Their musical styling and delivery shows that they are not only familiar to the stage, but that they are no strangers to the presence of God. “Over the last few years we have weathered through a myriad of challenges. And the two things that was constant for both of us was the presence of God, and the love we had for each other.” Devin said. There is certainly an evident synergy that comes when these two serve together, and it is showcased on this musical offering.

That they work together is clear for any listener to ascertain. Devin and Ashley present gripping vocals, compelling lyrics, simplistic melody and strategically executed layers of instrumentation that foster opportunities for genuine worship. “Our love is the local church, and as worship leaders our heart is to hear these songs in churches all around, and people singing along,” says Ashley. “Our heart is to put a song in the mouths of the church. Hopefully, in these hard times, this project gives you a song to sing.” Song of the Saints is the first of a number of projects to be released throughout 2021, with hopes to culminate with a special recorded project in 4th quarter 2021.
